The design registration process consists of 4 steps in Turkey.

- Certification
During the formal examination phase, the design applicants are only checked for the presence of documents and application conditions. There is no examination of an innovation that controls whether the design resembles any previous design.
The design registration is registered without examination, using a system based on the shape of an exemption, except for 1 or 2 countries in the world.
After the application phase, a registered application will be published and for 6 months the appeal will be in an open position and if no appeal is made, it will be registered.
During the period of publication, natural or legal persons may object to similarity to the published designs and in the sense that they cannot be protected by registration.
The design can be canceled by opening the case of invalidation of design even if 6 months period is missed.
