Bu yöntemde arıza tespit mantığı hiç değilse pistonun en az bir mevcut konumunu, daha uygun bir konumunu ve bir sonraki konumunu elde etme ve bir sonraki konumu en uygun konum ile karşılaştırma adımını içerir. Enerji kesme mantığı hiç değilse manyetik alanı aktif tutma adımını içerir ve piston konumlandırma mantığı pistonu yeni bir mevcut konumda konumlandırma adımını içerir.
