Including the invention's background, an analysis of the current state of the art, and the benefits it provides offers a significant advantage during examination.
- Technical drawings: If the invention has a specific structural design or function, drawings must be added. These drawings visually express the technical details of the invention and aid understanding of the specification. The drawings must comply with certain standards and be made clearly.
- Claim or claims containing the element or elements of the improvement for which protection by Patent Registration is sought.
