Trademark Registration Fee
How Many Years Is the Trademark Registration Fee Valid?
How many years is the trademark registration fee valid? In Turkey, trademark registration is valid for 10 years. So the answer to the question is years. The patent and trademark office does not ask for an additional fee during that period unless you request services like trademark monitoring or trademark analysis.
When the 10-year protection period expires, the trademark renewal fee needs to be paid. The payment period starts from the trademark application date. That is, the application date is the basis, not the date the registration certificate reached you. The mark can be renewed every 10 years at the owner's request.
The trademark renewal application can be filed 6 months before the period ends. After expiry, late renewal is still possible within 6 months for an additional fee. A trademark can be protected indefinitely as long as it is renewed regularly.
Service Type | Fee (TL)
Single-class trademark application (official fee) | 2,820 TL
Additional class application fee (per class) | 2,820 TL
Trademark registration certificate issuance fee | 7,010 TL
Trademark renewal fee (up to 2 classes) | 7,210 TL
Renewal fee for trademarks with expired protection (up to 2 classes) | 12,620 TL
