Trademark Application
How to Apply for Trademark Registration
How to apply for trademark registration: the process generally consists of several stages. First, our trademark agent requests the necessary information about the mark you wish to register. This information includes the mark's name, type, and the goods or service classes it will be used for. We then request the required documents for the application. Once the information and documents are gathered, the trademark application is filed, typically on the same day.
After the application is filed, the mark enters an examination process by relevant experts. At this stage, the application is evaluated for acceptance. During the evaluation, the mark is researched to determine if it is sufficiently distinctive from other registered marks. If the mark shows any similarity to existing registered trademarks, the application may be refused.
Following the examination, if there are no objections, the trademark application is published in the trademark bulletin. The publication period lasts 2 months, during which third parties can file an opposition. If no opposition is received, the registration is completed and the registration certificate is issued to the trademark owner. At the end of the process, the owner secures protection for their registered mark and gains legal rights.
