2. Accessing the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Website

An online trademark search can be performed through the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) with these steps:

Go to the official website of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office at turkpatent.gov.tr.

Click on the "Trademark Search" tab on the homepage.

• On the trademark search screen, enter the following information:
• Trademark name
• Trademark class (not mandatory)
• Trademark type (word mark, figurative mark, etc.)

• After the search, the results for the relevant trademark registration show whether the mark is registered, its application date, applicant information, and any opposition status.
• Alternatively, a trademark registration search can also be done via e-government: by logging in with a username and password at turkiye.gov.tr/turk-patent-ve-marka-kurumu, you can check trademark registration details.
