Trademark registration process

• Application: File directly or online with TÜRKPATENT using the e-Government or EPATS systems, or apply through a trademark agent.
• Formal examination: The application is checked for completeness.
• Similarity search and examination: The trademark is examined for potential confusion with previously registered marks.
• Publication: Approved trademarks are published in the Official Trademark Bulletin for a 2-month period.
• Opposition period: Third parties can file objections during this time.
• Registration: If there is no opposition or objections are rejected, the trademark is registered for a 10-year term.
